About Flying Colours

Flying Colours Driver Training is an independently run driving school based in Tredegar Gwent, near both Abergavenny  and Merthyr Tydfil test centres in Wales. We provide driving lessons to all surrounding areas. We offer a professional but stress free approach to driving tuition, enabling you to learn in a relaxed atmosphere at your own pace.

Your Training will be provided in a He-Man dual controlled New Model BMW Mini Cooper with climate control and a premium brand you can trust. You will be learning with a highly qualified DVSA approved instructor, Grade A - which is the highest & best grade an instructor can receive. Less than 30% achieve this grade.

We guarantee maximum value for your money by delivering a structured course of lessons to suit your individual needs, we provide detailed structured training so you can keep track of your progress. You will find the cost is competitively priced. Affordable lesson prices still means we provide high standards as our high pass rates show.

By making driving lessons fun and relaxed, our learners are always amazed at how soon they are able to confidently drive the car in busy towns, dual carriageways and complicated roundabouts.

We pride ourselves on our service and expert tuition with a relaxed environment where the pupil can learn at their own pace and on a one to one basis with the same driving instructor. All lessons are a minimum of 60 minutes we will never cut short your times. With no piggy back rides where you drive to the next pupil and sit in the back to be driven home or vice versa. 

Having maintained high pass rates, we feel this is due not only to providing the pupil with all the knowledge and skills to pass their test, but also to build the pupils confidence in a patient and stress free approach with safe driving for life. Whether you require some one-off refresher lessons, one or two hours per week, Intensive/fast pass courses or Pass Plus we are happy to provide a course structured around your needs.
